✓ Pets need to be safely secured in cars. Either in travel carriers, crates or with seat belt attachments or car harnesses
✓ Stop regularly for toilet breaks
✓ Keep your pet on a lead in unfamiliar areas
4. You’ve Arrived
✓ Secure any doors or gates before taking your pet off lead or out of their carrier or crate
✓ If camping, keep your pet on a lead
✓ Pets will likely mark their territory, so be prepared to clean up after them
